Calendar and More!

E-mail Print PDF

Hello A-Catters,

The sailing season for 2009 is here...even for those of us in the northern lattitudes!

There is a new calendar on the USACA site!  After evaluating multiple event/calendar solutions over the past year, I've chosen one and it is now fully functional on the site.  Going forward, all USACA national and regional events will be listed on this calendar.  Once an event has finished, it will continue to be listed and a "RESULTS" link will be added.  Past events will not be deleted from the calendar.  It will become the USACA's database of past events and results.  Over time, I will try to add older event results (from our old web-site).

E-mail Print PDF

As we ventured south down I-275 in Florida in search of mysterious city of Bokeelia, Florida, most of the twenty-five A Cat sailors did not know what to expect. Most of us had never sailed in these uncharted A Cat waters and none of us, besides our host, had sailed A Cats there. We knew that Ben Hall lived down H. Stringfellow Road but that's all we knew. We exited at Punta Gorda from I-275 and headed west toward the Gulf of Mexico.
