West Coast Trailer Going to Islamorada!

E-mail Print PDF
The TrailerWest Coast Acaters,

I talked to Bill Erkelens today about a couple of trips to Florida for Acat events. He's into doing both trips and he still has some space for the mid - Jan. 2009 Islamorada trip. Cost estimate is between $650 & $750 to be verified by Bill E.

Generally, I've been channeling the NorCal info on this and Pease channels the SoCal info but since the Glasers aren't going in January Bill asked me to put the word out.

So the deal is; Bill is towing his giant trailer to Islamorada in January for the Midwinters and then again to Ft. Walton Beach in May for the NAs.

A-Cat Winter Sailing Schedule

E-mail Print PDF
Islander ResortHi everyone,

With winter fast approaching now is the time to start planning an escape south for a week or a few weekends of fun A-Cat sailing in and around some of the most beautiful winter sailing locations in the US. We have planned an extension to last years successful winter circuit and set a series of regattas incorporating training and tuning days to accommodate everyone from the serious A-Cat racer to the entry level A-Cat sailor. The focus for these events is not only on serious racing but also on knowledge sharing, training and of course the social scene. Each location is great for sailors and families too.

IKE Bites

ike2Well folks there are plenty of tales to tell,
Some of us were lucky, some not.

So just as a flavor, the lucky ones face a huge mess. We still have no electricity, no water service and no sewer service. As you might imagine that is the pits.

It looks like all the A-Cats survived in garages or by being relocated.
